LIFT Academy

The Leadership In Flight Training (LIFT) Academy was born out of a desire to transform the standard pilot training model into one that is more widely attainable and attractive. By offering tuition that is more affordable than other pilot training programs, as well as a direct classroom-to-cockpit opportunity, LIFT has thrown the hangar doors wide open to a world of possibilities for men and women who thought becoming a pilot was simply not within reach.

Daedalians

The Daedalian Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Order of Daedalians. The main purpose of the organization is to inspire young Americans to pursue careers as military aviators, via college scholarships, flying instruction and other education opportunities. The organization offers various scholarships for students with a demonstrated interest in pursuing a military aviator career, moral character, physical condition and aptitude for flight, and financial need. Destination 225°

Destination 225° was developed to lead aspiring pilots into a career of flying, and specifically, flying the Southwest Way. For participants, the program paves the way to a career at the nation’s largest domestic carrier based on passengers carried, Southwest Airlines. The organization offers various scholarships for different types of applicants, including the Cadet Pathway for applicants who do not have previous experience as a pilot; the University Pathway, which was designed for collegiate aviators who attend a Southwest partner university or complete a Southwest Airlines Campus Reach Internship; or the Military Pathway, which bridges the gap for veterans or active duty military members who wish to transition to a career at Southwest Airlines. EAA Flight Training

Flight training scholarships from the EAA Aviation Foundation are now accepting applications through November 1, 2019. Applications are open to all ages, for any flight school in the United States, and for any rating or pilot certificate. Applicants need not be an EAA member.

WAI 2020 Scholorships

Women in Aviation International is awarding more than 100 scholarships in 2020 to WAI members looking to reach their goals and advance into the aviation and aerospace career. The foundation will be accepting applications through November 12, 2019. Applicants must be WAI members in good standing.
